ABOUT THE EVENT 6.14.26 @ Realm
La Dolce Disco is a curated, two-part editorial experience designed to bring creatives together in a vibrant, disco-inspired setting.
Part One: The Styled Editorial Session (11:00 AM – 1:00 PM) | Photographer tickets only
The first half of the day is a ticketed styled shoot exclusively for photographers who purchase a photographer pass. During this session, models are professionally cast and styled in advance. Hair, makeup, and wardrobe direction are thoughtfully curated to create cohesive, elevated imagery. This portion of the day is structured, intentional, and designed to give photographers access to refined, editorial moments in a beautifully designed space.
Part Two: The Open Creative Session (1:30 PM – 3:00 PM) | Model & Guest Tickets Only | Photographers From Part One Will Get To Stay
The second half of the day shifts into a more relaxed, community-driven atmosphere. Photographers who purchased a ticket for the morning session are welcome to stay and continue shooting. This portion is open to any model who would like to attend with a model ticket. Models during this session will not be styled by the event team and are encouraged to come camera-ready. The energy becomes more fluid, collaborative, and disco-forward — perfect for creative exploration and connection.
La Dolce Disco blends structure with spontaneity, offering both a polished editorial experience and an open creative celebration, all within one unforgettable Sunday.

How Does Shooting Work? (For Photographers)
-
To maintain an intentional and elevated creative environment, photographers will be organized into small groups upon arrival.
Photographers will be placed into groups of four and paired with an event host/point person. Each group will rotate through all three sets during the styled session.
Each set will have a designated time block.
During the first 15 minutes at each set, the event host will provide light direction and posing guidance to establish strong movement, flow, and editorial energy.
During the final 15 minutes, photographers may take turns directing the model if they wish — allowing for personal creative interpretation while maintaining structure and fairness within the group.
This rotation format ensures:
• Balanced shooting time
• Clear direction
• A collaborative atmosphere
• No overcrowding at setsThe host/co-host will announce when it is time to rotate between sets.
Casted- Models will remain stationed at their assigned set during rotation to keep timing organized and ensure smooth transitions.
If you would like to work with a model on a different set than their assigned station, that opportunity will be available toward the end of the styled session during designated “free time.”
The goal is to create beautiful work while keeping the experience smooth, respectful, and creatively energizing.
-
How Does the Afternoon Session Work (1:30–3:00 PM)?
-
This is where things get fluid, collaborative, and disco-fueled.
Model ticket holders should arrive camera-ready. Hair, makeup, and styling are not provided during the afternoon session. Bring 1–2 outfits that align with the theme — think bold, metallic, textured, playful, and movement-friendly.
During this session, photographers and models are free to move between sets and collaborate organically. Choose the sets you’re drawn to. Work with the creatives you vibe with. Create intentionally.
Photographers: approach respectfully and communicate clearly.
Models: feel empowered to initiate collaboration. If you’re unsure where to start or would like help connecting, Katie or Jordyn (your event hosts) are happy to assist and facilitate introductions.
The energy shifts from structured to open — but professionalism, respect, and collaboration remain the priority.
Come ready. Come on theme. Come ready to make something unforgettable.
